What is Cape School?
Cape School is a family-owned company offering professional education for individuals who are licensed, or looking to become licensed, in the fields of Real Estate, Insurance, Mortgage Loan Origination, Legal, and Appraisal. We offer continuing education and pre-licensing courses in multiple formats.
What sorts of courses does Cape offer?
We offer continuing education courses required to maintain your license as a Real Estate or Insurance agent or broker, Mortgage Loan Originator, or lawyer. In some cases we also offer the courses necessary to obtain one of these licenses. We offer both online and written self-study courses as well as live webinars and teleconference classes. We also offer live classroom courses in some states.
What are the system requirements for online and instructor led online courses?
You will need a computer or mobile device with browser and internet connection. You must have a desktop or laptop with the most current version of Chrome, Firefox, or Safari browser (Internet Explorer is no longer supported) with Internet Access (high speed recommended), speakers for the audio portions of the course, and Adobe Acrobat Reader or compatible PDF reader for courses that contain PDF documents
How do I take a webinar course?
Its easy. Follow the instructions contained within our webinar FAQ which can be access by clicking here.
Will Cape courses count toward my license or renewal?
All courses we offer are pre-approved by the necessary regulatory agency before being offered. Each course available on this website is noted with how many credits and the type of credits for which it has been approved. As long as you have chosen courses appropriate for your state and license type, they will count for your license.
How are course credits reported?
Education credits are reported electronically by our staff to the respective agencies where allowed.
How do I access my online courses?
Online Self-Study courses can be accessed by logging into your Cape account. If necessary, click on your name in the upper right corner and select "My Classes," then click on the title of your course to get started.
What is the refund policy?
Refunds apply to tuition fees only, not shipping and materials, and are per person per event. A WRITTEN refund request must be received in our office 1 business day prior to the start of class. All refunds are subject to non-refundable administrative fees: $25 fee for CE classes and $50 fee for Pre-license classes. These fees will remain on your account for one year, and may be applied to future seminars offered by Cape. There are NO refunds for completed courses.
If Cape lowers the price within 30 days of the purchase of a course, a refund for the difference will be issued upon request.
How do I apply as an instructor?
If you are interested in becoming an instructor, you can fill out the Instructor Application and upload your resume here: Instructor Opportunities
